Assembler III: $25.00 - $30.00/hour
Shift: Monday - Friday | 8:00 a.m . to 4:30 p.m.
Responsibilities:
- Assembly and Integration: Perform complex electrical and mechanical assembly of machines and machine options, ranging from small components to large, final assemblies, utilizing hand tools, jigs, fixtures, and various power tools.
- Quality and Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and effectively repair assembly errors, mechanical faults, and wiring issues quickly to maintain production flow and quality standards.
- Technical Comprehension: Read and comprehend complex method sheets, detailed work instructions, and advanced engineering drawings (electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints).
- Training and Mentorship: Serve as a peer advocate and instructor, providing training and guidance to less experienced team members on assembly techniques, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively advocate for and contribute ideas and suggestions regarding Design for Assembly (DFA) and other Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality.
- Communication: Provide actionable feedback to the cross-functional manufacturing team (Engineering, Production, Quality) regarding assembly issues or process enhancements.
- Compliance: Follow directions from the lead assembler and supervisor and accurately prepare all assigned paperwork, logs, and quality documentation.
- Inventory and Tools: Provide assistance during monthly and yearly physical inventories and ensure the careful use and maintenance of all company-supplied tools and equipment.
