Are you an organized and proactive professional seeking a dynamic role within a supportive and innovative environment? Join our team as an Winery Operations Assistant, where you'll play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive administrative and support services to our department! With minimal supervision, you'll utilize your knowledge of departmental policies, procedures, and a general understanding of other departments' functions to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
In this diverse role, you'll be responsible for producing various reports, preparing correspondences, memoranda, agendas, and coordinating daily contractor reports. Your organizational skills will shine as you manage crew scheduling, maintain training schedules, process vacation requests, order supplies, and maintain office equipment. You'll coordinate with Team Leaders and HR on timekeeping, payroll corrections, and maintaining essential documentation. A core function of your role will be to coordinate and lead employee engagement events throughout the year. This will require coordinating venues when needed, decorating on-site locations, scheduling catered food for 150-300+ people, creating flyers for events, enlisting the support of site volunteers, communication to the site employees, maintaining a site events budget and leading the events as the point of contact on the day of events.

What You’ll Need
High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 2 years of industrial relations support, administrative support, payroll support, event planning and coordination, or production scheduling experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility. Experience handling sensitive and confidential information. Required to work scheduled shift (day, swing or graveyard). Required to work overtime and occasional weekends. Experience performing data entry on a PC. Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Skilled in writing simple correspondence. Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers. Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description. Required to be 18 years or older. The Fine Print
The Company does not sponsor for employment-based visas for this position now or in the future. Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. In addition to the salary, this position may be eligible for bonuses, incentive plans, or participate in tasting room tip pools, as applicable. This position will be based in the location(s) specified in the job posting and requires working on-site with no telecommuting option. You will be expected to live within a commutable distance.
