Job Title: Windows System Administrator Location: REMOTE Type: Contract through the end of 2025 Compensation: 50-70/hr Contractor Work Model: Remote Hours: Meeting hours will be Mountain Time Zone Systems Administrator Requirements + Bachelor's Degree in an information technology related field with at least 6 or more years of relevant experience *Higher education may substitute for relevant experience *Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education + Prior experience with systems administration in Windows or Linux environments + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with others + Demonstrate a customer care philosophy that ensures a high level of customer satisfaction + Proven organizational skills with an attention to detail Preferred/Must haves + Manage and maintain servers and related infrastructure components. + Manage and maintain AI systems, including hardware and software components. + Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation of IT infrastructure. + Perform system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance to ensure security and reliability. + Troubleshoot and resolve on premise and cloud infrastructure + Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions. + Administer and support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other network services. + Administrator and support Azure Entra and RBAC + Manage virtualization environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure). + Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and implement IT policies and procedures. + Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and junior IT staff. + Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and network diagrams. + Ensure NIST 800-171 compliance. + 4 + years of experience in implementing and supporting AWS and Azure operations. + 4 + years of experience in implementing and supporting VMware (vRealize, vRealize Operations, vRealize Automation). + 5 + years of experience with IT operations monitoring tools (PRTG, vRealize Operations, SolarWinds) + Plans and coordinates the setup, installation, and configuration of the operating system (including hardware and software), new software releases, and upgrades. + Solid understanding of network and security protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and firewall management. + Solid Knowledge of PowerShell scripting and the ability to automate tasks using scripting. + Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with other IT team members and stakeholders. + Certifications • AWS Cloud Foundations • Azure Fundamentals System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
