Job Title: Windows Server Engineer

Job Summary

Concentrix is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to manage system upgrades, patching, and maintenance across servers and endpoints. The role involves evaluating system compatibility, performing backups, applying ESXi patches, and upgrading PC operating systems and Microsoft Office while ensuring minimal downtime. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically skilled in Windows Server and VMware environments, and committed to maintaining compliance with corporate IT policies and security standards.

Responsibilities

Evaluate system compatibility and develop upgrade strategies for infrastructure components.Perform and verify full system backups before and after upgrades to ensure integrity.Troubleshoot and resolve issues during and post-upgrade processes.Apply ESXi patches using vSphere Lifecycle Manager or CLI-based tools.Conduct host reboots and VM migrations with minimal impact to operations.Upgrade PC operating systems and Microsoft Office applications across user environments.Ensure all activities comply with IT policies, security standards, and audit requirements.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or system administration roles.Proficient with Windows Server 2016 and newer versions.Experience with VMware vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi patching procedures.Skilled in PC OS and Microsoft Office upgrade deployments.Relevant certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, or VCP are highly desirable.Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.Capable of working independently, including support during off-hours or scheduled maintenance.

The Hourly rate range for this position is $38 -$51 (pay rate will not be below applicable minimum wage), plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual hourly rate will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies. Benefits available to eligible employees in this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, comprehensive employee assistance program, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off and holidays and paid learning days.
