Job Title: Windows/MECM Systems Admin Location: Hybrid Work Model Reporting to Vienna, VA (~2 days/week onsite, rest remote) Position Type: Multiyear Contract Great opportunity with top-tier financial institution! To provide technical direction and engineering support for projects and infrastructure. Develop and maintain working knowledge of evolving IT engineering industry technologies/competition, concepts and trends. Assist with troubleshooting complex technical issues causing business impact or service degradation. Willingness to be a self-starter in a face paced technical team. Qualifications: • Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint and Configuration Management environment • Familiarity with Group Policy Administration using GPOAdmin or equivalent • Familiarity with SQL Server Management Studio and SQL query authoring • Familiarity with PowerShell, Python, Splunk Query Language, and Windows Query Language • Familiarity with Dell Wyse Management System • Comprehensive knowledge of administering and troubleshooting Windows 11 and IoT • Familiarity with Dell ThinOS • Familiarity with ServiceNow request, incident, change, and asset management modules • Effective database management, presentation software skills, verbal, and written communication skills • Effective organizational, planning, time management skills, research, analytical, and problem solving skills • Effective word processing and spreadsheet software skills • Ability to exercise initiative using good judgment in making sound decisions • Self-starter and eagerness to learn new technologies • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field a strong plus Scope of responsibility • Apply engineering principles into the design and enhancement of new and existing systems • Document new system components, or modifications to existing components • Ensure the security and integrity of system and product solutions including compliance with industry engineering and Information Security principles and practices • Perform engineering tasks and assignments in support of business needs • Perform engineering technology research, procurement, deployment, and configuration for new and modified systems • Present clear, organized and concise information to all audiences through a variety of media to enable effective business decisions • Perform other duties as assigned.
