This position requires a person with substantial experience and will be responsible to oversee the design and negotiate the Balance of Plant (BOP) execution contracts for a 320MW wind project.
Key responsibilities:
Manage relationships with BOP Contractors and liaise with TotalEnergies group level key supplier management initiativesAdvise on the preferred contracting strategyLead the technical and commercial evaluation of BOP ProposalsLead the selection of a BOP contractor(s)Negotiate the BOP Construction and O&M agreements, focussing on technical & commercial and coordination withinternal/external legal advisors and technical specialists (Turbine interfaces, Grid Code Compliance, Turbine Performance, SCADA, Schedule, O&M Contract) Liaise with the Turbine team to manage the formulation and contracting of interfaces between the BOP contractor and the Turbine supplierUp to NTP: Oversee the BOP design review process during concept and detailed design (in consultation with the OE)Assist the Project Director and Engineering Manager in preparation of management presentations and the generation of reportsNegotiate and manage other related subcontractor agreements as may be required (met mast construction, etc.)Such other duties that may be required from time to time within the general scope of the position.The role description should develop along with the changing demands of the projects’ objectives and priorities.Candidate Profile
