Opportunities for overtime are available.** **Responsibilities:** + Provides advice to customers regarding the best products to fit their needs + Processing orders via order management system + Operate cash registers and follow established cash handling procedures + Prepare and stage orders for customer pick up + Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards as advised + Ensure that merchandise is restocked and placed in their respective areas + Maintain a safe working environment including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) + Will be working 1/2 time in the warehouse pulling and preparing customer orders + Build, wrap, sort and transport pallets and packages + May be responsible for providing driver duties and responsibilities **Qualifications:** + 1-3 years customer service and warehouse experience required + Basic knowledge of HVAC services and products is preferred + Must be at least 18 years of age + Follow all DOT standards and regulations + Possession of a DOT Medical Card or the ability to acquire a DOT Medical Card + Must possess a valid state issued driver license + General computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required + Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise up to 50lb regulary and up to 75lbs occassioally + Experience using material handling equipment such as hand trucks, dollies, and forklifts is preferred + General math skills to allow for cash accounting + Excellent decision making and communication skills + An ability to learn is a must have! *Pre-employment drug and background screening required* At Ferguson, we care for each other.
