If you're passionate about Wireless Technology, specially WiFi technologies, in the context of embedded software development and system-level integration, we may have the job for you! **Description** As a core team member, you'll be responsible for crafting, improving, and maintaining WiFi networking subsystem software across a range of Apple products. The role requires initiative, technical ownership, and accountability for driving all aspects of work you're doing toward delivering superior end-to-end connectivity quality and enabling to innovate user experience that enhance daily work and life of millions users! Due to the multi-functional nature of the technology, the ideal candidate should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate optimally with a wide range of teams across Apple. The candidate should also be able to make intelligent choices to balance end-to-end customer experience and use case quality, while factoring in product-level constrains including regulatory requirements, power efficiency, and thermal considerations. **Minimum Qualifications** + You have a strong technical background and hands-on experience in wireless networking, particularly in WiFi protocols (802.11 standards), MAC/PHY layers, and system-level software design + You have proven experience in leading and delivering large-scale software development teams, ideally in embedded-systems and connectivity-related domains + You have a proficient understanding of TCP/IP suite of protocols and their intrinsic interaction with WiFi SW stack on end-to-end user experience + You have the ability to drive technical strategy and execution, balancing product goals, technical complexity, and cross-functional collaboration + You have excellent analytical and problem solving skills with strong execution through ambiguity and meaningful risk/reward analysis + You have excellent communication and leadership skills, with a focus on mentoring, growing talent, and fostering an inclusive, high-performance team culture + You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent **Preferred Qualifications** + You have experience applying AI/ML techniques to deliver better connectivity experience and improve operational efficiency in SW engineering + You succeed in a collaborative environment and can efficiently communicate/coordinate while deftly driving multiple projects across many teams + You’re laser-focused on customer impact with attention to the smallest details that are meaningful to our customers + Masters Degree is preferred **Pay & Benefits** At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $228,100 and $393,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
