**Job Description Summary**
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across a complex, matrixed organization. This role will focus on extracting and analyzing data from multiple systems, identifying trends and outliers, publishing actionable reports, and guiding root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will bring advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and Power BI, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry and familiarity with project management methodologies (PMP preferred) are strong assets.
**Job Description**
**Key Responsibilities** :
+ Extract, consolidate, and analyze data from multiple internal systems to support operational and strategic decision-making.
+ Perform trend analysis, identify outliers, and highlight key insights to stakeholders.
+ Design, automate, and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI and Excel.
+ Support and lead structured root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring or critical issues.
+ Partner with cross-functional teams to track action items and drive timely updates and resolution.
+ Translate complex data into clear narratives and visuals to support leadership presentations.
+ Maintain data quality and integrity across reporting platforms.
+ Identify process gaps or inefficiencies and recommend data-driven improvements.
**Qualifications** :
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Engineering, or related field.
+ Minimum 5 years of business analysis experience, preferably in a complex, matrixed organization.
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts) and Power BI (data modeling, DAX, report publishing).
+ Proven experience interpreting complex datasets and presenting insights to non-technical stakeholders.
+ Experience facilitating or contributing to root cause analysis and corrective action tracking.
+ Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
+ Comfortable collaborating across functions, time zones, and levels of seniority.
+ Experience in medical devices, healthcare, or life sciences preferred.
+ PMP certification or familiarity with project management practices is a plus.
**Preferred Tools & Skills** :
+ Power BI (desktop and service), Excel (Power Query, VBA a plus)
+ SAP, Oracle, or other enterprise systems (optional but beneficial)
+ SharePoint, Teams, or other collaboration tools
+ RCA tools: 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, Fault Tree Analysis
