What you'll do:

As a WHS Advisor at DHL Supply Chain, you will play a critical role in enabling safe, compliant, and high-performing warehouse operations. Working in a fast-paced, operational environment where no two days are the same, you will have the autonomy to make informed decisions, influence leaders, and continuously grow your professional capability.

You will work closely with site leaders, operations teams, and stakeholders to embed a proactive safety culture and ensure WHS systems are not only compliant—but effective.

\n

Key responsibilities include:

\n\n\n

Ensuring all operations understand, are trained in, and adhere to WHS policies, procedures, and current WHS legislative requirements

\n\n\n

Providing WHS advisory support across warehouse operations to support safe and compliant outcomes

\n\n\n

Assisting with internal, site-specific WHS audits, inspections, and spot checks

\n\n\n

Ensuring all operational WHS documentation, including risk assessments and Safe Work Method Statements, is current and fit for purpose

\n\n\n

Facilitating safety risk assessments, incident investigations, reporting, and statutory record keeping

\n\n\n

Driving continuous review and improvement of WHS management systems, policies, and procedures

\n\n\n

Supporting the development and facilitation of a safety-first culture through coaching, engagement, and leadership support

\n\nWhat You Bring to the Table:

To succeed in this role, you will bring both technical WHS expertise and the ability to influence and engage people at all levels of the business.

\n

You will have:

\n\n\n\n\n

Demonstrated experience in a WHS Advisor role, ideally within a 3PL, logistics, warehousing, or operational environment

\n\n\n

Strong experience in risk assessment, control implementation, and monitoring effectiveness

\n\n\n

Sound working knowledge of Australian WHS legislation, relevant standards, and applicable Codes of Practice

\n\n\n

Experience supporting audits and inspections; external auditing qualifications are desirable but not essential

\n\n\n

A tertiary qualification in a related field, with a minimum of Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety

\n\n\n

Highly developed written and verbal communication skills

\n\n\n

The ability to influence, motivate, and engage teams to foster a positive and proactive safety culture
