About the department
You will be part of the Wholesaler Group, a key component of our supply chain operations. Our team is responsible for increasing the value of Novo Nordisk at the wholesaler, ensuring proper stock, and to be a strategic partner within the assigned sales blocks. We are a dynamic and collaborative team, committed to achieving strategic goals and driving value across our wholesaler network. The role is based in Japan, where you will work closely with both local and international supply chain teams to optimize our processes and strategies. 
 
The position
As a Wholesaler Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will:

In collaboration with Commercial teams, plan and execute wholesaler promotion plans, and cooperate with Sales team to achieve sales targets in the assigned block. Monitor wholesalers for new launch products to establish optimal supply scheme, monitor and optimize the gap between exFactory and exWholesaler sales performance and maintain a healthy stock level at Wholesalers, as well as cultivate an environment for fair price negotiation. Monitor Wholesaler Selling Price to secure our product value in the market, monitor and reconcile Wholesaler monthly Profit & Loss with outstanding payment. Credit control for wholesalers, managing of product return, and coordination of discontinuation of products, packaging changes and any necessary adjustments done in the market. Gathering of the latest information in the industry and being updated on the latest medical administration knowledge and understanding of ground realities.

 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or above. 5+ years of working experience in Wholesaler Management  (This includes collaborating with the MS, as an Area Manager or an MR) Experience in Sales management strongly preferred Native Japanese  Basic English skills with a willingness to improve
