Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Wet Utilities Design Engineer to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of water supply, sewerage, and stormwater systems for various projects in the region.

Develop comprehensive designs for wet utilities systems, including water distribution networks, sewage collection systems, and stormwater management facilitiesUtilize CAD software and hydraulic modeling tools to create accurate and efficient designsPerform hydraulic calculations and analysis to ensure optimal system performanceCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, structural engineers, and contractorsPrepare technical reports, specifications, and cost estimates for wet utilities projectsEnsure compliance with local and international design standards and regulationsConduct site visits to assess existing conditions and monitor project progressParticipate in client meetings and presentations to discuss project requirements and solutionsStay updated on industry trends and innovative technologies in wet utilities designMentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance as needed

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum 3-5 years of experience in wet utilities designProficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD softwareExperience with hydraulic modeling software such as InfoWorks or EPANETStrong mathematical and analytical skillsExcellent project management abilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledge of local and international wet utilities design standards and regulationsUnderstanding of sustainable water management practicesProfessional Engineer (PE) certification preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentWillingness to travel to project sites as required
