What will I be doing?

\n

The Wellness concierge cum Beautician is responsible for: arrival and departure guest services, consultation, retail and gift certificate sales, spa tours, walk-in guest reservations and guest history data entry. They are responsible for receiving all telephone appointment requests, providing hotel and spa information and attending to other administrative duties assigned. In addition, Beautician has a general understanding of beauty and willing to execute beauty treatment offerings unique to Waldorf Astoria Spa. They must possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness solutions to meet the needs of guests. Specifically, as Wellness Concierge cum Beautician for Waldorf Astoria Maldives you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nMaintain complete knowledge of:\n\nHours of operation and activities\nSpa services and products\nScheduled daily group activities\n\n\nProcess the check-in and checkout administration for all Spa guests, including retail sales, guest forms, and guest history data input.\nMaintain immaculate presentation standards of the arrival area, including retail areas.\nPromotes and maintains the highest level of customer service to all guests while staying alert to their needs.\nOversee the housekeeping and presentation standards of the Reception, Consultation and relaxation areas.\nExecute guest service protocols for the following Spa areas: \nArrival, Consultation areas, Retail zones and relaxation areas.\nActively promote home care programs, meeting minimum retail sales goals.\nProvide detailed information for spa treatments, packages, services, facility, features and provide spa tours for\nprospective guests.\nAttend to pre- and post-consultation processes and provide treatment orientations.\nMonitor treatment room turnover to ensure they are prepared for arriving guests.\nInterpret and action therapist’s retail and re-booking recommendations for guests.\nReport accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications\nFollow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional; protect company assets.\nPossess ability to work with minimal supervision.\nReceive and process all Spa property telephone calls, including reservations, general inquiries, call transfers, gift\ncertificate sales.\nRecord messages for unavailable personnel and guests, and forward to the appropriate person.\nSuccessfully achieve high call conversion ratio to achieve booking performance targets.\nProvide knowledgeable assistance to help guide the customer to the aspired spa experience.\nProvide knowledgeable information about the spa, guest amenities, and hotel facilities.\nCoordinate a seamless guest journey that will meet the guest’s expectations and deliver high productivity for the Spa.\nPromote and process gift certificate sales.\nProcess appointment confirmation telephone calls and/or emails.\nProcess appointment follow-up telephone calls and/or emails.\nComplete reservations administration reports as requested by the Spa Director / Assistant Spa Manager.\nAttend to miscellaneous tasks as requested by the Spa Director / Assistant Spa Manager.\nPerforming beauty treatments, makeup, facials, hair removal, manicures and pedicures.\nProvide neat, legible guest information records as required for the Waldorf Astoria guest experience protocols.\nAttend all required meetings and training sessions\n

\n\nPrevious reception or retail experience in a spa environment.\nOpera /Spa software handling experience.\nStrong communication skills.\nComprehensive knowledge of Spa and salon services\nKnowledgeable with multi-cultural service protocols and standards.\nExcellent guest relations and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent time management, organizational, communication and motivational skills.\nCandidate must have a good command of spoken and written English. Fluency in additional language is an advantage.\nPays attention to details and have strong customer service skills.\n\n\n
