Well Intervention Engineer - (Plug & Abandonment)  12 Months Contract  Brisbane with some site visit to Chinchilla 
The Well Interventions / P&A team plan and support the operation of seven Well Interventions rigs (including upcoming underbalanced workover operations), Coiled Tubing Unit(s), multiple wireline/slickline units, wellsite activities and decommissioning and restoration activities including but not limited to wells, well sites, ponds and dams.

The Well/Project Engineer’s key role in conjunction with other Well Engineers, Supervisors and Civil & Construction is to carry out the planning and coordinate the execution of the P&A and D&R scopes.

Rig selection (combination of workover rig and CT)
- Contracting strategy, potentially including tendering too.
- Contracts management and kick off

Experience in CSG (Coal Seam Gas) / CBM (Coal Bed Methane), Unconventionally, or other high intensity land operations and or operations on privately owned land is beneficial.

Strong interpersonal, networking, and interfacing skills are required including ability to work across multiple complex interfaces.


Experience & Qualifications Required:
•    Engineering degree
•    10 years of relevant Wells experience and able to work independently.
•    IWCF: Yes
•    Strong understanding of the Well Delivery Process and related value creation activities
•    Working knowledge of workover rig and coiled tubing operations
•    Working knowledge of EDM well engineering software packages or able to learn quickly
•    Location: Office Based
•    On-site Time Requirements: Regular field visits required.
