Airswift is looking for a Well Intervention Engineer to work on a temporary offshore assignment (10–12 months) with a leading energy company. The position is based offshore in the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, operating on a 14x14 rotation. Candidates must have valid offshore certifications and prior experience in well intervention operations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIESPlan and design well intervention operations including slickline, electric line (e-line), coiled tubing, stimulation, diagnostic services, and pumping operations.
Provide technical support during execution of interventions, ensuring compliance with safety, operational, and environmental standards.
Coordinate logistics, equipment readiness, and contractor alignment for all offshore well activities.
Monitor wellsite execution, track performance, and ensure accurate reporting of operational metrics.
Participate in After Action Reviews (AAR) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure timely and accurate cost and time estimations for intervention programs.
Maintain close communication with offshore teams, vendors, and multidisciplinary stakeholders.
Follow and enforce all HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, Environment) policies and procedures.
Assist in documentation and lessons learned to enhance future operations.
JOB QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in offshore well intervention engineering.
Valid CBSP and T-HUET certifications (mandatory).
Availability for a 14x14 offshore rotation in Rio de Janeiro state.
Experience with well intervention tools and techniques (slickline, e-line, coiled tubing, etc.).
Advanced English and native portuguese
