Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Welding Supervisor in a metal shop that specializes in manufacturing agricultural equipment, including tillage tools, spreaders, and flour bins. With the recent construction of a state-of-the-art facility, there are ample opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
Responsibilities
Oversee and direct the work of the welding department, supervising a team of 12-15 welders.Train new welders on specific techniques and products to ensure quality and efficiency.Schedule team projects based on timelines and skill levels required for completion.Lay out and tack welding projects for less experienced welders to finish.Read blueprints to accurately weld and assemble parts.Operate overhead cranes for the transportation of raw materials and final products.Coordinate with fabrication, material handling, and assembly departments to ensure smooth product flow through the facility.Essential Skills
Proficient in MIG welding with over 3 years of experience.Ability to read and interpret blueprints with at least 2 years of experience.Strong supervisory skills in a manufacturing environment.Capable of passing a written welding test.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with stainless steel is preferred.Skills in operating forklifts and overhead cranes are beneficial.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a standard metal shop environment equipped with top-of-the-line facilities. Our production flow is designed in a U-shape, promoting teamwork as welders retrieve parts from machines for their tasks. Shift hours are Monday to Friday, from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
