Welding Supervisor

Are you an experienced leader in welding operations, ready to take charge of a dynamic team? We are seeking a Welding Supervisor to oversee the majority of our first shift and a portion of the second shift. In this role, you will play a key part in managing the welding of custom coils for the heat transfer industry, ensuring top-tier quality and production efficiency.

Responsibilities:Lead and supervise a team of approximately 40 welders and brazers across two shifts, with support from a team of leads.Drive production goals by effectively managing schedules, resources, and personnel.Oversee the welding process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company quality requirements.Utilize your expertise in TIG welding, blueprint reading, and welding diagrams to guide operations.Proactively troubleshoot and solve production challenges to enhance efficiency and output.Foster a collaborative and safety-conscious work environment.Qualifications:Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within welding or fabrication.TIG welding proficiency and the ability to interpret blueprints and welding diagrams are highly desirable.Strong leadership skills with an action-oriented, hands-on approach.Experience in quality assurance and production oversight within a manufacturing setting.Prior ASMA certifications are a plus.Key Skills:Welding, TIG welding, blueprint reading, fabricationSupervision, leadership, production managementQuality assurance, problem-solving, efficiency improvementShipping & receiving, welding engineering
