Our client, is seeking a dedicated Welding professional to join their team. As a Welding specialist, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization. **Job Title:** Welding **Location:** Clare, MI **Pay Range:** $18.50 an hour to $19.50 an hour, depending on shift **Shift:** 1st shift - 8 am to 4 pm 3rd shift - 12 am to 8 am **What's the Job?** + Join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable materials using appropriate techniques and welding devices. + Position parts according to work orders, routings, prints, and knowledge of the unit. + Regulate machine settings for proper weld current, wire feed, and gas flow. + Join steel or aluminum pieces by heating to achieve proper fusion, ensuring quality and precision. + Remove weld imperfections and record all relevant work data including labor, downtime, and rework details. **What's Needed?** + Minimum of 1 year of MIG and TIG welding experience. + High School diploma or GED equivalent required + Knowledge of blueprint reading and welding symbols is preferred. + Ability to follow safety protocols and work effectively in a team environment. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work with a reputable organization in the industrial manufacturing sector. + Potential for skill development and career growth within the company. + Supportive team environment focused on safety and quality.
