Job Description:

As a Welder you would be responsible for assembling and welding various metal components and structures.

Responsibilities:

Welding and assembling metal structures and componentsReading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specificationsSetting up welding equipment Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standardsOperating grinders, saws, and other fabrication equipmentMaintenance of welding equipmentFollowing proper safety procedures and wearing proper PPE

Education: High School

High School Diploma or EquivalentTechnical training or certification in welding preferred

Experience: 24 months

2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment

Physical:

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Skills:

Proficiency in MIG and TIG weldingStick Welding (preferred) Ability to comprehend blueprints and technical drawingsUnderstanding of metal types and thicknessesUnderstanding of math (fractions, decimals, and measurements)
