We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team and contribute to the production of high-quality steel products. This role involves weld preparation, execution, and finishing operations in accordance with customer specifications. You will also repair submerged arc weld seams on steel pipes using specialized equipment

Key ResponsibilitiesPerform welding and finishing operations to meet quality standardsRepair discontinuities in submerged arc weld seamsEnsure compliance with customer specifications and drawingsMaintain and troubleshoot welding equipmentUse precision measuring instruments for inspectionPerform grinding using manual and power toolsAdhere to safety and housekeeping standardsComplete additional duties as assigned

Essential Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in assigned welding techniquesKnowledge of weld set-up parameters (amps, volts, etc.)Experience with conventional and precision measuring toolsAbility to use mobile device applicationsMinimum of 1 year welding experience

Additional Qualifications:

Successful completion of internal welding testExperience in MIG, flux core, and dual shield weldingAbility to read and interpret blueprints

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $49920.00/yr.
