The Welder will be required to carry out cladding on machined parts to a high degree of quality, and work on his/her own initiative to meet the production schedule of the plant. The role will require the ability to weld many different types of components related to Gas and Steam turbine repairs. This position may be required to flex between first and second shift as needed.

As a Welder III, you will be responsible for:

Performing visual and in-process inspections in accordance with API and ISO quality specifications

Reading and understanding engineering drawings & specifications.

Overlaying of components using Tig & MiG per weld procedures.

Setting up and welding components within the parameters of the specific weld procedure.

Detailing grinding of components after weld repairs

Adhering to Company Safety and Environmental policies Qualifications/Requirements

Adhering to Company quality procedures.

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a qualification of High School Diploma or equivalent diploma.

Have a 7+ year experience of using foot control tig and MiG machines

Have an experience with SMAW & GMAW welding procedures

Have an experience of manual TIG

Have an Advanced degree can be substituted for experience
