Welder/Fabricator Details:

Contract to Hire position$32.00 to $38.00 /hourFirst ShiftFabricate, assemble, and repair stainless steel and other metal equipment used in cheese production and packaging.Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to ensure accurate fabrication and installation.Perform welding (MIG/TIG/Stick), cutting, grinding, and finishing of components.Modify and repair machinery, conveyors, tanks, and other plant equipment to meet production needs.Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to identify fabrication needs and provide timely solutions.Ensure all work complies with GMP, food safety, and OSHA safety standards.Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper handling of tools and materials.

Welder/Fabricator Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in fabrication, welding, or industrial maintenance (food manufacturing experience preferred).Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings and schematics.Skilled in MIG/TIG welding, cutting, and metal finishing.Knowledge of stainless steel fabrication, sanitary welding, and food-grade equipment standards.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in welding/fabrication preferred.
