Job Description
Join our team as a Welder and Fitter where you will perform GTAW welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel. Your role will include welding and grinding duties, working independently or as part of a team, and ensuring all parts meet customer specifications by following supplied blueprints.
ResponsibilitiesPerform welding and grinding duties as required.Weld based on supplied blueprint.Work independently or as a team member.Work from complex drawings.Ensure all parts are prefabricated correctly to meet customer specifications.Work in a safe manner by following all Occupational Health & Safety Regulations, Company Policies, and Procedures.Perform other duties as defined and assigned by department supervisor or lead hand.Comply with and perform all duties according to organizational standards.Initiate and continually strive for maximum production efficiency and attention to detail.Document and complete Quality reports.Maintain a clean and organized working area.Ensure adequate clean-up and inspection of all weldments and fabricated parts upon completion of assigned work.Essential Skills2-4 years of TIG (GTAW) welding on aluminum and steel.2 years of MIG welding on steel.Proficient in MIG, TIG welding, and Flux core welding.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Experience with stainless steel.Additional Skills & QualificationsWelding tickets are considered an asset.Fabrication, production, fitting, structure, and assembly skills.Sub Arc and Red Seal Certification are considered assets.Why Work Here

Join a Canadian-owned and operated metal manufacturing company that excels in prototyping and custom projects. Work in a climate-controlled facility utilizing the latest technology for machining, fabricating, welding, and design support. The facility operates on a day and afternoon shift schedule: Days - 6:30am-3:00pm Monday-Friday, Afternoons - 3:00pm-1:30am Monday-Thursday.
