**Job Title: Welder and Fabricator** **Job Description** The Welder and Fabricator will be responsible for executing complex welding and fabrication projects in the Industrial Shop. They will interpret complex blueprints and perform tasks such as layout, fabrication, and welding of a wide variety of structures, including structural steel, stairs, rails, and miscellaneous metals. The primary welding techniques employed are MIG and Flux Core. **Responsibilities** + Interpret and work from complex blueprints to execute welding and fabrication tasks. + Perform layout, fitting, and fabrication of structural steel and miscellaneous metals. + Utilize MIG and Flux Core welding techniques to complete projects. + Operate overhead cranes for material handling. + Work independently at an assigned workstation, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of experience in structural steel or miscellaneous metals layout, fitting, and welding. + Proficiency in blueprint reading with a minimum of 3 years of experience. + Experience in MIG and Flux Core welding for at least 3 years. + 3+ years of forklift operation experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with overhead crane operation is beneficial. **Why Work Here?** Join a large and established employer that offers room for advancement and growth. The facility is equipped with overhead cranes to safely move materials. Candidates must have their own welding gear and steel-toe boots. Each employee will have their own workstation and is expected to work independently. Safety is a top priority in the facility, and the role supports the structural and miscellaneous departments. Typical hours are Monday to Friday from 5 am to 3:30 pm, with a 50-hour workweek and optional Saturday work. Flexibility for overtime is required. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of York, PA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
