Join our team as a Welder and Fabricator, where you will be responsible for the fabrication and installation of heavy mild steel components. Our work involves breaking down materials and machinery, transporting them safely, and reassembling them at new locations. This role requires precise welding on-site and at our facilities in Southbridge, MA.

ResponsibilitiesFabricate and install heavy mild steel components.Break down materials and machinery into manageable sizes for transport.Safely load and transport components to new locations.Perform welding tasks on-site and at our facilities.Work with mezzanines, railings, and perform equipment repairs and industrial modifications.Essential Skills3-5 years of MIG Welding experience (Standard MIG, FCAW, Pulse, etc.) or Stick Welding (SMAW).Proficient in fabrication, blueprint reading, and various welding techniques including MIG and TIG welding.Skilled in cutting, drilling, grinding, and beveling.Experience with oxyacetylene/plasma torch cutting and assembly.Additional Skills & QualificationsAWS D1.1 Certified or comparable experience.Familiarity with carbon steel and/or high strength steel plate.Must have reliable transportation.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work is conducted within warehouse settings, either on-site at client buildings, at new client locations, or at our headquarters. The role requires adaptability to different environments and the ability to work with various types of equipment and structures.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Southbridge, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr.
