**Job Title: Welder and Fabricator $22-$26/hr** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Welder and Fabricator who specializes in MIG welding on structural steel. The ideal candidate will be proficient in interpreting blueprints, specifications, and diagrams to successfully layout, fit, and fabricate based on these plans. Understanding drawings and weld symbols are crucial for this role, as is the ability to read, understand, and follow all welding procedures. The candidate will inspect welds for accuracy, read and interpret engineering drawings, and weld in all positions using MIG and Flux core welding techniques. Additional responsibilities include deburring and grinding material, as well as preparing material through grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, and cutting steel/aluminum parts. Familiarity with D 1.1 and D 1.5 standards is required. **Responsibilities** + Perform MIG welding on structural steel. + Interpret blueprints, specifications, and diagrams for fabrication. + Layout, fit, and fabricate materials based on blueprints. + Understand and apply welding symbols and procedures. + Inspect welds for accuracy and quality. + Read and interpret engineering drawings. + Conduct welding in all positions using MIG and Flux core techniques. + Debur and grind materials as needed. + Prepare materials by grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, and cutting steel/aluminum parts. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in MIG welding and fabrication. + Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications. + Understanding of welding symbols and procedures. + Experience with D 1.1 welding standards in at least 2G. + Capability to perform D 1.1 3G, 4G, 5G, 6G welding. + Knowledge of fracture critical welding. **Work Environment** The work environment includes a schedule of 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a half-day on Saturday, totaling 60-hour work weeks. The facility is not climate-controlled, requiring adaptability to various weather conditions. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
