The welder will study blueprints, sketches, and drawings to determine dimensions and setup requirements. They will measure, mark, and scribe dimensions on materials or workpieces, assemble units according to blueprint specifications, and tack pieces together for stabilization. The role involves welding pieces to ensure functionality and leak-proof integrity, pre-inspecting units to meet customer and company expectations, completing paperwork and labeling, and ensuring units are inspected by Quality Control. Additionally, the welder is responsible for documenting all time spent on units via the E2 time ticket process.
