**Job Title: Welder** **Job Description**
As a Welder, you will be responsible for setting up, laying out, tacking up, and welding sheet metal or plate to construct customer parts and components. You will utilize your MIG and/or TIG welding skills to safely apply welds according to specifications, ensuring the production of completed products. You will monitor fitting, burning, and welding processes to prevent overheating, warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of materials. Additionally, you will follow and maintain strict adherence to safety regulations and ensure a clean work area.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up, lay out, and tack-up sheet metal or plate for welding.
+ Perform MIG and/or TIG welding on metal parts to construct components.
+ Apply welds safely according to specifications to produce completed products.
+ Monitor fitting, burning, and welding processes to prevent material damage.
+ Ensure porosity-free TIG and MIG welding.
+ Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of experience in MIG and/or TIG welding.
+ Proficiency in setting up jobs from prints.
+ Ability to read blueprints.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Excellent attendance and positive attitude.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High School diploma or GED required.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Menomonee Falls, WI.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
