**Job Title: Welder/Fabricator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled welder who can proficiently perform tasks on various types of steel, including aluminum, hot roll, and cold roll. Candidates must have expertise in stick, flux core, and MIG welding, as well as the ability to weld out of position, including overhead, vertical, and horizontal welding. **Responsibilities** + Perform stick, flux core, and MIG welding on various types of steel. + Fabricate and weld using blueprints to guide the process. + Execute out-of-position welding including overhead, vertical, and horizontal welding. + Utilize tape measures, gauges, squares, and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in welding and fabrication with MIG techniques. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Experience in connecting and erecting steel structures. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous experience in a custom weld shop is highly preferred. + TIG welding experience is a major plus, though not required. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy the benefits of a first shift position with working hours from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The shop is relatively small, promoting close collaboration and teamwork. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of New Albany, IN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
