**Job Title: Welder** **Job Description** Join our team as a Welder, where you'll engage in MIG, Flux Core, and STICK welding on heavy gauge materials of 1 inch and up. This role requires setting up and operating welding machines, fabricating simple components, and utilizing hand tools and measuring devices. You will need to complete welds within specific time frames, perform simple layouts, and fix imperfections using torches, air arcs, and grinding tools. The position involves reading and interpreting blueprints and weld symbols, maintaining your work area, and lifting up to 60 lbs. **Responsibilities** + Perform MIG, Flux Core, and STICK welding on heavy gauge materials. + Set up and operate welding machines. + Conduct simple fabrication tasks. + Use hand tools and measuring devices effectively. + Complete welds within specific time frames. + Execute simple layouts and utilize torches, air arcs, and grinding tools to fix imperfections. + Read and interpret weld symbols and blueprints. + Maintain a clean and safe work area. + Lift up to 60 lbs as required. **Essential Skills** + MIG welding experience. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols. + Proficiency in welding in flat, horizontal, and vertical positions. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with MIG/STICK welding. + Familiarity with hand grinding and oxy torches. + Experience with fabrication and fitting. **Why Work Here?** Working here offers the opportunity to be part of a unionized environment with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401K plan.
