Job Requirements
Minimum 2 years of welding and fabrication experience
AWS 1G (unlimited thickness) or ASME Section IX certification required
Proficiency in GMAW and FCAW welding processes
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and AWS welding symbols
Experience setting up and operating fabrication tools and welding equipment
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of AWS welding codes and standards
Ability to troubleshoot fabrication challenges and support continuous improvement
Experience with tools including preheat torch, cutting torch, stud welder, and overhead crane
Experience mentoring or training team members on welding procedures
Job Responsibilities
Fabricate and weld filtration equipment, piping, and structural components based on blueprints and work orders
Apply AWS welding symbols and standards in all fabrication work
Select proper welding wire, shielding gases, and adjust feed speed and voltage for optimal welds
Maintain AWS 1G unlimited thickness or ASME Section IX certification
Operate fabrication tools and equipment safely and effectively
Train and mentor employees on welding and fabrication processes when required
Maintain safe, clean, and organized work environment following safety protocols
Complete daily documentation including shop work orders, rework sheets, and time tracking
Support department leadership by adhering to safety standards, policies, and production procedures
Participate in problem-solving related to drawings, BOMs, NARs, routings, and ECN changes
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members
Pay Details: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour
