Our client in Clare MI, is seeking a Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting skilled trades. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Welder

Location: Clare, MI

Pay Range: $19.50 an hour

Shift:
3rd - 12 am to 8 am
*overtime is scheduled prior to shift start time - overtime can be heavy.

What's Needed?

At least 1 year of MIG and TIG welding experience. REQUIRED High School diploma or GED. REQUIRED Knowledge of blueprint reading and welding symbols preferred. Ability to remove imperfections from the surface of products. Willingness to implement and complete all welding and related tasks assigned by team leaders and crew leaders.

What's the Job?

Join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable materials using appropriate techniques and various welding devices. Position parts according to work orders, routings, and prints, utilizing knowledge of the unit. Regulate machines for proper weld current, wire feed, and gas flow. Ensure the fit, function, and cosmetics of welded products meet or exceed client expectations. Document all labor, downtime, scrap, rework, and information pertaining to each work order and routing sheet.
