Temp-to-Hire position$18.00 /hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 03:30pm)Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to ensure accurate fabrication.Set up welding equipment and perform routine maintenance or troubleshooting.Perform quality welds that meet strength, tolerance, and appearance standards.Check dimensions and tolerances using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).Inspect welds for defects (cracks, porosity, undercut, etc.) and make necessary repairs or adjustments.Welder Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED requiredAble to perform MIG, TIG and Stick WeldingAbility to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and welding symbols is requiredAbility to use micrometers and calipers is requiredAbility to lift 50lbs repeatedlyApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
