Summary: Seeking a Fabrication Welder with experience in MIG welding, plasma cutting, and acetylene torch use for contract position.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with GMAW (MIG welding) in 2G position
Experience using a plasma cutter & acetylene torch
Ability to read, understand, and follow blueprints
Valid Drivers License
Ability to work 6 AM - 2:30 PM shift
Preferred Skills:
FCAW welding experience in 3G and/or 4G position
Knowledge of ASW Standard D11 code
Knowledge of Weld Symbols
Responsibilities:
Reading fabrication drawings and using a tape measure
Interpreting welding procedures and executing (machine set-up, pre-heat & post heat, gas, wire feed, amp voltage)
Using basic hand tools, jigs & fixtures
Reading and analyzing blueprints to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations
Cutting materials for use in fabricating
Laying out, positioning securing parts and assemblies according to specifications
Tack welding components
Cleaning and inspecting all welds
Inspecting and measuring all fabricated parts for accuracy
Adhering to all safety and health rules.
Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
