Our client, a leader in the defense industry, is seeking a Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting critical projects. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Welder

Location: Ladson, SC

Pay Range: Competitive

Shift: 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM (Monday to Thursday)

What's the Job?

Weld proficiently in all positions with minimal defects. Determine the correct equipment to use and method based on the requirements. Perform basic welding machine setup and troubleshooting. Read and interpret welding symbols accurately. Comply with all safety requirements and protocols for working in a hazardous environment.

What's Needed?

Successful completion of 7 weld tests: FCAW (2G, 3G, and 4G); GWAW-Pulsed (2G, 3G, and 4G); GMAW-Spray (2G). Successful completion of Pegasus Welder Workmanship Training (WWT). High school diploma or GED. Successful completion of an accredited trade school welding program or equivalent; or 2 years demonstrated practical AWS D1.1 welding experience. Ability to accept constructive criticism and show improvement consistently.
