The Welder plays a crucial role in fabricating, assembling, and welding components used in the oil and gas industry. This position requires a skilled individual with a strong background in welding techniques, precision work, and adherence to safety protocols.
Min 2 years of welding experience in manufacturing lineTechnical certificated welderUse of hand tools, jigs and fixtures. Familiar with TIG welding processExperience in MIG is a plus.Use of variety of welding rods, gases and processes. Knowledge of basic quality requirementUse of cutting torch or torch equipment. Knowing various temperatures for special materials and welding to engineering specifications. The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.SAFETY, SECURITY & COMPLIANCE

OPERATIONS
Perform welding tasks using various techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, to join and fabricate metal components according to engineering specifications.Interpret and understand engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to ensure accurate and precise execution of welding projects.Conduct inspections of welded joints and structures to verify conformance to quality standards and specifications.Operate and maintain welding equipment, including routine inspections, troubleshooting, and performing minor repairs as needed.Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and other team members to ensure effective communication and successful completion of projects.Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and prevent safety hazards.Monitor and control consumables inventory related to welding activities.Participate in training sessions and stay informed about advancements in welding technology and techniques.
