WELDER
The Welder plays a crucial role in fabricating, assembling, and welding components used in the oil and gas industry. This position requires a skilled individual with a strong background in welding techniques, precision work, and adherence to safety protocols. QUALITY + Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford’s Management System. + Maintains service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvement. OPERATIONS + Perform welding tasks using various techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, to join and fabricate metal components according to engineering specifications. + Interpret and understand engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to ensure accurate and precise execution of welding projects. + Conduct inspections of welded joints and structures to verify conformance to quality standards and specifications. + Operate and maintain welding equipment, including routine inspections, troubleshooting, and performing minor repairs as needed. + Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and other team members to ensure effective communication and successful completion of projects. + Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). + Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and prevent safety hazards. + Monitor and control consumables inventory related to welding activities. + Participate in training sessions and stay informed about advancements in welding technology and techniques. + Min 2 years of welding experience in manufacturing line + Technical certificated welder + Use of hand tools, jigs and fixtures. + Familiar with TIG welding process + Experience in MIG is a plus. + Use of variety of welding rods, gases and processes. + Knowledge of basic quality requirement + Use of cutting torch or torch equipment. + Knowing various temperatures for special materials and welding to engineering specifications. + The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.
