**Job Title: Welder** **Job Description** As a Welder, you will be responsible for reading blueprints, drawings, weld symbols, and measurements to plan layout and procedures. You will determine and set up welding equipment and components based on job specifications, follow blueprints and technical schematics, examine welds to ensure they meet standards, and assemble component parts using appropriate tools. Maintaining a safe and clean working environment is also essential. **Responsibilities** + Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, weld symbols, and measurements. + Determine and set up appropriate welding equipment and components. + Follow blueprints and technical schematics accurately. + Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications. + Understand plans and requirements for each task. + Assemble component parts using appropriate hand and small power tools. + Clean and maintain all equipment and tools. + Ensure a safe and clean working area. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of MIG/TIG welding experience. + Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics. + Own basic hand tools. + Proficient in communication skills and fabrication. + Proficient in using hand tools and fitting. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + CWB certification is a nice to have. + Experience working at heights is beneficial. + Forklift experience with counterbalance is advantageous. **Why Work Here?** When you become a permanent employee, you'll enjoy comprehensive health and dental benefits, full PPE coverage, and uniforms. The standard shift is from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with 8.5-hour days including two paid 15-minute breaks and a non-paid lunch. Overtime is compensated at 1.5x after 40 hours and on Saturdays, and 2x on Sundays.
