**2nd Shift WELDER**
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
· Set up, calibrate, and operate automated MIG/MAG welding machines.
· Monitor automated welding processes to ensure consistent weld quality.
· Adjust welding parameters such as voltage, amperage, gas flow, wire feed speed, and travel speed as required.
· Load and unload parts using fixtures, tooling, and material handling equipment.
· Identify and report machine, tooling, or process issues to minimize downtime.
· Follow production schedules and work instructions.
· Read and interpret basic blueprints and job documentation.
· Verify parts and weld quality using measuring tools as required.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
· Support cross-training and assist in other production areas as needed.
**Skills:**
· Basic understanding of welding principles and automated welding processes.
· Ability to operate automated production equipment.
· Basic computer skills.
· Ability to read and follow work instructions.
· Strong attention to detail and quality.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
**Experience:**
· Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment required.
· Experience with automated welding equipment preferred.
· Overhead crane or industrial lifting experience preferred.
**Education and Qualifications:**
· Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment required.
· Experience with automated welding equipment preferred.
· Overhead crane or industrial lifting experience preferred.
