What you will be doing as a Welded Parts Finisher:
In this role, you can expect to form, finish, join, and assemble a variety of production and aircraft parts. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the precision and quality of each component, contributing to the success of our legendary aircraft.
Welded Parts Finishing: Smooth and finish welded parts and assemblies, ensuring they meet appearance specificationsLeak Testing: Perform clean and leak test operations on welded details and assemblies to ensure integrityDetail Assembly: Check, join, straighten, or hand form detail and weld assemblies according to specifications and instructionsMetal Forming Tools: Use metal forming and trimming tools like hammers, hand shears, and drills, and operate fabrication equipment such as sanders, grinders, buffers, expanders, reamers, and torchesQuality Assurance: Ensure the quality of your work meets the required standards.
What you need to be successful:
A high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification is requiredAbility to work in a manufacturing shop environment is neededWillingness to learn and collaborate with your peers is helpfulTextron Aviation Inc. must comply with U.S export control laws and regulations.
