Summary
We are seeking a skilled individual for the position of FPI Weld Prep. This role is pivotal in supporting our mission to provide high-performance solutions for aerospace applications. You will contribute significantly to our innovative projects, ensuring quality and efficiency in our manufacturing processes.
This position is primarily responsible of insuring proper surface finish as per product criteria and customer requirements.

Starting Wage: $22.00/ hour
Typical job duties
Follows activity InstructionsRemoves defects from the surface of parts; using a variety of small hand tools (including but not limited to buzzie’s and grinding pads).Polishes casting’s surfaces as per customer’s requirements.Prepares castings for weld processRemoves defects identified in the Liquid Penetrant ProcessVisual Inspection of parts to help ensure they meet customer requirements.Sets up and maintains small appliances as required to perform specific activitiesMaintains the necessary stock of materials for the area to maximize productivityMaintains necessary documentationOther duties as assignedWilling to be cross trained in other areas of productioncode of conduct
