Weld Manufacturing Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Weld Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve welding operations with a focus on robotic systems at a manufacturing facility.

Requirements:

Experience programming and troubleshooting robotic welding applications (e.g., Fanuc systems) Knowledge of manufacturing weld processes, tooling, tool design, and total preventative maintenance MIG welding experience

Preferred Skills:

BS degree preferred; AS degree considered with relevant experience Open to recent graduates with proper experience

Responsibilities:

Investigate and analyze data to identify root causes of welding issues Establish routings, pay standards, layouts, weld tooling, costs, OMS, and control plans for operations revisions Implement cost reduction, quality, safety, and ergonomic improvements for welding operations Collaborate with PDM, SAP, Wplanner/MPM, OMS, and Creo for engineering functions Design cell layouts to improve material flow and presentation Participate in annual factory capacity planning and productivity activities

Pay Details: $40.00 to $46.00 per hour
