Shift Pattern: Saturday and Sunday 19:30-00:30

Salary: £18.90 Per hour + Sodexo benefits

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook to join our team at Johnson Matthey – Brimsdown. As part of the Sodexo catering team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service to staff and guests. This is a hands-on role requiring a passion for food, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals following provided recipesDeliver excellent customer service in a professional and courteous mannerMaintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanlinessSupport with packed lunch preparation and dinner serviceAssist in maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant and kitchen areasComplete due diligence paperwork using the Kelsius systemParticipate in performance reviews and training as requiredWork collaboratively with the team and independently when neededAdhere to all company and client policies, including health and safety and COSHH regulations

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills and Experience:

Previous experience in a catering or cooking roleKnowledge of food safety, allergens, and COSHH regulationsStrong team player with good communication skillsAbility to work under pressure in a busy environmentSelf-motivated with a can-do attitude and attention to detailWillingness to undertake relevant training
