Personal care: dressing, bathing, grooming and assisting with mealsLight housekeeping: basic cleaning, laundry, and organizingTransportation: Driving clients to appointments, running errands, and grocery shoppingCompanionship: games, puzzles or other activities that provide social and emotional support ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions:
Delivering exceptional care to the dedicated client in their homeHelp execute comprehensive personalized weekly schedules and care plans Complete daily tasks in a safe and professional manner (ADLs)Supply personal companionship, remaining actively engaged with each client by providing ongoing social & emotional supportAssist with personal care activities to include personal hygiene, mobility assistance, incontinence care, light housekeeping, feeding and meal preparationKeep order, safety and client enjoyment top of mind at all timesAdministrative functions such as documentation of completion of tasks and report changes in the client’s physical condition, mental capability or behavior QualificationsRequired Skills, Education and Certifications:
Must have at least 1 year of professional caregiving experienceReliable transportation and valid drivers licenses required. Alzheimer's or Dementia experience is a plusEmpathy, compassion and kindness a MUSTAbility to use sound judgement and remain calm in a variety of situationsMust be reliable, dependable and on timeBasic computer skills as well as overall technical savviness Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.Can pass a background check and provide referencesMust have reliable mode of transportationIn accordance with Article 2 of the California Health and Safety Code - California Community Care Facilities Act, TheKey requires timely and accurate positive fingerprint identification of applicants as a condition of employment.
