Excellent onboarding and an industry leading learning culture will set you up for positive impact and success, whilst ongoing development will advance your career through an upward trajectory. **Your role and responsibilities** * Developing, building, and delivering solutions to customers using webMethods portfolio (Integration Server, API Management, Universal Messaging, My webMethods Server, Command Central, Terracotta, webMethods.io / iPaaS). * Acting as the primary technical contact for clients on webMethods solutions and providing expert guidance on integration architecture, API strategy, and middleware best practices. * Working closely with IBM Support teams to ensure efficient resolution of client issues. * Adapting to client needs swiftly to minimize downtime, facilitating smooth deployments and integrations of new solutions while adhering to IBM best practices. * Managing client expectations and communicate service updates effectively. * Responsible for monitoring and managing the successful implementation of IBM Middleware projects. * Providing status to key stakeholders on project progress and call out project risks and mitigation plan. * Making all your customers successful whilst achieving key metrics for yourself and Expert Labs. * Applying Technical Expertise to ensure world-class delivery while leveraging your consultative skills such as: * Problem solving & hypothesis-based methodologies. * Communication, and service orientation skills. **Required technical and professional expertise** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. * Industry Expertise, At least 4 years working with Banking clients. * Strong knowledge of webmethods flow language, Java, Graphical Data Mapping tools. * 5+ years of hands-on experience working on delivery projects, Designing and developing of message flows in production environments using webmethods Integration server, API Gateway, and other relevant IBM webmethods products. * Build and manage REST and SOAP APIs; secure, publish and manage APIs using API Gateway and Developer Portal. * Experience with various integration protocols and data formats (e.g. REST, SOAP, XML, JSON). * Integrate with messaging systems (JMS, Universal Messaging, IBM MQ) and databases (Oracle, DB2, PostgreSQL) via adapters and JDBC. * Configure clustering, load balancing, and high-availability for webMethods runtime components. * Deployment, debugging, and optimization of complex middleware flows, Networking, Database systems e.g. (ORACLE, IBM DB2). * Implement CI/CD pipelines for middleware deployments (Git, Jenkins, Docker images, Helm / OpenShift/Kubernetes deployments) for webmethods products. * Deploying webMethods runtimes on Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift; managing via CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Git. * Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and run-time monitoring. * Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle technical challenges. * Knowledge of Linux/Unix/Windows Systems Administration. * A passion and deep interest in Middleware Technologies, Required Soft Skills * Strong written, oral communication and collaboration skills. * Ability to manage customer requirements. * Ability to be a team player. **Preferred technical and professional experience** * IBM Certified Developer - Integration server and API Management. * Knowledge of SWIFT, ISO 20022 is a plus. * Demonstrated Development Experience with: IBM webmethods Integration server, IBM webmethods API management (API Gateway / Developer Portal), WebMethods.io Integration / iPaaS (Cloud Administration and Hybrid Integration) * Demonstrated Administration Experience with: IBM webmethods Integration Server, IBM webmethods API Management (API Gateway / Developer Portal), IBM webmethods My Webmethods Server. IBM webmethods UM, IBM webmethods Command Central, IBM webmethods Optimize, IBM webmethods Terracotta / Caching, IBM webmethods Adapters, IBM webmethods Runtime / Cluster Administration,IBM webmethods Microservices Runtime (MSR).
