Web Ui Developer

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Web Ui Developer who will be responsible for designing and leading low latency Micro Ui's within the Spread Technology team in Fixed Income.

In this role, you will:

Lead or participate in complex initiatives on selected domainsAssure quality, security and compliance for supported systems and applicationsServe as a technical resource in finding software solutionsReview and evaluate user needs and determine requirementsDesign low latency eTrading, pricing, and risk applications for Fixed Income asset classes such as Structured Products, Credit, and Municipal Bonds. Implement complex, low-latency, HTTP and Web Socket based real-time micro Uls in JavaScript/Typescript, Angular, AgGrid and other third-party UI librariesProvide technical support, advice, and consultation with the issues relating to supported applicationsMentor junior talent in the team and provide guidance on the applications we develop in terms of design and technical solutionsHave complete ownership of Code Quality, Pull Request Reviews, DevOps, and stability of the UI Codebase.Create test data and conduct interfaces and unit testsDesign, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practicesUnderstand and participate to ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiativesConduct research and resolve problems in relation to processes and recommend solutions and process improvementsAssist other individuals in advanced software developmentCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals


Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

4+ years of experience with HTML5, JavaScript, CSS

4+ years of experience with Typescript

4+ years of experience with Client-side UI frameworks such as Angular/React

4+ years of experience with JSON, REST, XML

4+ years of experience building real-time UIs using web sockets

2+ years of experience using headless web containers such as OpenFin/Glue42/FinSemble

Desired Qualifications:

Experience with Web Servers (like Apache Tomcat, IIS, nginx)

Experience with Test Automation using tools such as Selenium and excellent grasp of Performance/Stress Testing web UIs using Chrome DevTools

Knowledge of Capital Markets Fixed Income domain

Basic understanding of Bond Pricing, Bond Risk, Bond PnL, and Position Management

Basic understanding of Trade lifecycle, Position Management, and End of Day Marking

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$119,000.00 - $187,000.00
