We have an exciting opportunity for a Web Marketing Analyst to join our central marketing team in Gateshead. This role is ideal for someone with experience in Google Analytics, tag management, and a passion for turning data into actionable insights to optimise online performance in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead on Google Analytics reporting, insight development, governance, and self-serve training. Manage Google Tag Manager and web call tracking across all group websites. Develop and maintain website, CTA, and web channel dashboards for the Digital Marketing team, ensuring alignment with business objectives and KPIs. Build attribution models and develop KPI targets to support marketing lead and sales plans. Provide analytics support for A/B testing, delivering insights for optimisation. Create actionable web analytics dashboards for the Marketing leadership team. Oversee digital marketing briefs into the Insight & Analytics team, prioritising and reviewing outputs. Act as marketing lead on web data governance, documentation, and definition. Recommend website performance improvements and support testing initiatives. Deliver insight and dashboards for third-party lead generation, working closely with the Head of Marketplace Performance.Skills & Experience
Proven experience developing analytical insight using GA4. Strong knowledge of Google Tag Manager. Skilled in creating reports and dashboards in BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Looker Studio). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets. Experience working with Google BigQuery. Ability to summarise and present complex marketing data into clear, actionable insights. Excellent communication skills to build trust and manage stakeholder expectations. High level of digital marketing acumen and a customer-focused approach.What We Offer
