Job Description:
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Web Content Designer to join our Digital Performance Marketing team. You will be responsible for designing, creating, and maintaining high-quality, user-focused web content forsage.comacross UKIA. This includes crafting compelling page copy, optimising key journeys, and supporting brand and demand integrated campaigns. You’ll work closely with UX designers, product marketing, SEO specialists, and campaign teams to ensure our website effectively communicates our brand, drives engagement, and delivers measurable commercial outcomes.
You will be working as part of the AI-assisted Web Content team, alongside other Content Designers and Web Content Strategists and reporting into the Director of Web Content.

Your first 30 days?
You will attend squad meetings, get to know our teams and attend onboarding meetings. You will learn about the products you will be focused on. You will learn how to use our dashboards and will take on ongoing tasks with your manager. You will learn about our 2-week sprint process and how to use Workfront and will deliver copy for tests, updates, promotions etc.
What's in it for you?
This role requires you to work in a collaborative way, where you can leverage your expertise to help guide the content experience for a range of products/segments. The role offers the opportunity to work on tests for optimisation and to work with a range of teams, including web experience managers, XD, PMMs, and optimisation squads. Each team member is trusted to manage their tasks and workload, so it is ideal for someone who likes to work with minimal handholding. There is a lot of collaboration across teams, so there is always support and someone to answer questions.
This is a hybrid role – three days per week in our Newcastle, Winnersh or London
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and review engaging content for key pages acrosssage.com, ensuring alignment with brand tone of voice, accessibility, and SEO best practice.
• Act as a content design lead in multi-disciplinary squads, supporting agile delivery and backlog management.
• Take ownership of web content projects, from brief to delivery, translating complex technical concepts into clear, compelling copy.
• Optimise user journeys through strategic content placement, A/B testing, and in-journey experimentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to adapt product marketing messaging into web-ready formats that meet user intent and drive conversion.
• Track and measure the impact of content changes, demonstrating improvements in engagement, conversion rates, lead volumes, and revenue.
• Provide consultancy and guidance on content best practices, supporting internal teams with tone of voice and style guide application.
• Leverage AI tools to improve content creation efficiency, develop content engineering skills, and explore innovative ways to integrate AI into workflows.
Skills, Know-How, and Experience
• Experience in a web content designer role within a global or matrix environment, ideally B2B.
• Proven track record creating content for high-traffic websites with complex information architecture.
• Excellent copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to produce clever, clear, concise, and user-focused copy.
• Strong understanding of SEO principles, conversion optimisation, and user-centred content design.
• Experience working in agile environments, with prioritisation, brief refinement and ticket sizing skills.
• Able to perform in a variety of working models including the content design method, agency-client, cross-functional creative pods, co-design model and consultancy/advisory.
• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management abilities, high EQ, and the capability to influence at all levels.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-informed decisions using analytics, research, and commercial insights.
• Experience in proofreading, value proposition development, and translating product marketing into engaging website copy.
