**Our client, a large financial services firm, is currently seeking a Wealth Operations Specialist to join their team in Markham, ON! This role would be hybrid 3 days a week in the office in Markham, ON and 2 days a week work from home. *Candidates interested must be able to commute to Markham. Job Description · Provide support to the team in processing withdrawals, transfers, and contributions while ensuring compliance with legislative requirements. · Manage the administration of RESP and RRIF accounts, including account setup and disbursement of minimum payments. · Handle specialized processing requests involving Estates, Home Buyers' Plans, LLP, marriage breakdowns, court orders, and related cases. · Coordinate and maintain recurring transactions such as Pre-Authorized Contributions (PAC) and Systematic Withdrawal Plans (SWIP). · Reconcile control accounts and oversee the completion of assigned financial reports. · Respond to client service inquiries pertaining to registered investment products with accuracy and professionalism. · Contribute to process improvement initiatives, product enhancements, and participate in development testing activities. · Engage in cross-functional projects and support broader industry initiatives. · Assist the manager in researching and resolving escalated issues and analyzing system-related concerns. · Support the manager in collecting, tracking, and reporting team performance metrics. Qualifications + Understanding of back office operations (account transfers, different registered products (RESP/RIFF/Locked in account) + Understanding of basic account book keeping (debit/ credits). Could be through work experience or education + STRONG communication skills (verbal and written + STRONG computer skills (MS teams, skype, MS office) Work Environment Hybrid 3 days a week in Markham. 7.5 hour day, Monday - Friday. 830-4pm, or 9-5. Can be flexible. Duration: 6 month contract to start with an opportunity of extension OR conversion to permanent Pay: $24 - $26/hr Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
