**What You Will Do**
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern who will work within the department responsible for mechanical engineering including design, analysis, calculations, modeling and specifications for building HVAC systems and plumbing; compressible fluid and cryogenic systems and central energy installations for an individual facility/attraction, land, or theme park project. + Be responsible for entry level mechanical engineering design and calculation tasks
+ Make decisions within established guidelines and provide, under supervision, engineering design and analysis in support of the production of construction contract documents
**Required Qualifications & Skills**
+ General knowledge of the mechanical engineering curriculum, with concentration in the areas of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, thermodynamics and air conditioning
+ Knowledge of heating/cooling load and energy calculations and basic mechanical engineering calculations
+ Proficient in the use of 3D CAD technology, Revit experience preferred
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Active membership in ASHRAE
+ Engineer-in-Training certified
**Education**
Currently enrolled as a Junior or higher attending an accredited college/university earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering
**Eligibility Requirements & Program Information**
**Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet** **all of** **the below requirements:**
+ Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
+ Be at least 18 years of age
+ Possess unrestricted work authorization
+ Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.

The pay rate for this role in Orlando, FL is $30 per hour for undergraduate students and $35 per hour for graduate level students.
